Chocolate Frog Recipe

This isn't really a recipe since no cooking is involved but its sort of like a tutorial. I made these chocolate frogs a while back for me and some of my friends. I decided to make them again because they're just so fun to make and they taste so good! I mean they're literally just blocks of chocolate.

Supplies:

  1. Frog molds (I got mine on amazon)
  2. Baking chocolate, sweet or semi-sweet (baking chocolate melts better)
  3. Box Template
  4. Hot glue
  5. Plastic wrap
  6. Pot and bowl
  7. Scissors
  8. Card stock

Steps:

  1. Pour hot water in a pot and put as much chocolate as needed into a bowl.
  2. Place the bowl in the hot water. (don't get water in the bowl though!)
  3. Wait for it to melt and stir occasionally
  4. Once melted pour the chocolate into the frog molds and put them in the fridge.
  5. I would leave them over night or wait at least 4 hours.
  6. meanwhile print as many box templates as you want.
  7. Print them on card stock to make them more sturdy. (If your printer cant print on card stock, either find a printer that does, skip the boxes, or print them on normal paper.)
  8. Fold and glue the boxes together
  9. When the chocolate frogs are solid, take them out of the fridge and wrap them in plastic wrap.
  10. Put the frogs in the boxes and either glue them shut and give them away or just admire your handy work.
