Potion Necklace DIY

Image
Something I've noticed when I've attempted to DIY anything is that whenever I try to follow a tutorial that says "easy" or "five minute crafts" it always calls for a Hammer Driver Drill or quick dry cement. I don't know about you but I don't have those things just lying around the house. So when I choose to blog about any type of craft I choose to be honest...you will have to buy some of the things required to make these necklaces, but the cost shouldn't be more than $20 for a pack of 10 bottles. I know that's actually a lot but when you think about it, it's only $2 per bottle. And if you can't spend that much then you can probably substitute some of the items. But if you are really invested into Harry Potter crafts, as I am, then you will surely enjoy making these potion bottle necklaces!     Materials: Little glass bottles with a cork (whatever size you want depending on if you're making a necklace or just a potion bottle)

The Unofficial Guide to a Harry Potter World Trip

1.   Georgian House Hotel, London Of course you’ve got to England first, after all that's where it all began. The Georgian House hotel is a hotel with harry Potter themed rooms. Each room is equipped with wizarding supplies such as magic books and cauldrons. 2. Leadenhall Market, London J.K. Rowling based Diagon Alley off of this indoor market. And it's here you can find the storefront of the Leaky Cauldron used to film the harry Potter movies. 3.  Kings cross station, London This one is obvious. This is where the barrier to the Hogwarts express is and where the scenes for platform 9 ¾ were filmed. The station even built their own platform 9 ¾ for Harry potter fans to take pictures in front of and, no one can deny it, trying to force their way through the barrier. 4. The London Zoo, London This is where the scene in the first movie was filmed when Harry speaks to the Boa Constrictor ( who was not Nagini so stop those stupid fan theories!) 5.  Warner Bros.

My Favorite Butterbeer Recipe

Image
Small Serving of  Butterbeer         If you have ever delved into the world of Harry potter recipes then you know that there are probably 50 different Butterbeer recipes out there. And let me tell you I have tried them all. Honestly most of them are pretty underwhelming. But I have finally perfected my Butterbeer to whipped cream ratio and I am proud to say that I'm finally ready to share my recipe with the world.        There are two parts to this recipe. there's the "beer" part and the "butter" part which isn't actually butter. Now just a few notes: this is a non-alcoholic recipe, this is a cold recipe, and this recipe is either a hit or miss with most people. This recipe can be way to sweet for some people but for people like myself who have a serious sweet-tooth this is a perfect summer drink. So lets get started. Ingredients: 2 liters Vanilla Flavored Root beer - I recommend A&W cream soda 2 tbsp. butter extract 2 tsp. rum ext
